A Brief History & Introduction to Our Firm
NL Attorneys and Conveyancers Incorporated, a dynamic and client centric law firm was established in 2019 when Tenhlanhla Simelane and Magnus Leibbrandt join forces to acquire the Conveyancing Department of the former Norton Lambrianos (SA) Inc. a legal practice with over 35 years’ experience in various aspects of Property Conveyancing and Debt Collections.
Tenhlanhla held a Candidate Attorney position at Norton-Lambrianos (SA) Incorporated since 2011, she qualified as an Attorney in 2013 and a year later was appointed as the Director of Corporate Governance and Human Relations. She served as a director at the firm for 5 years and is currently a director and the majority shareholder of NL Attorneys and Conveyancers Inc. Tenhlanhla holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Magnus, a qualified Attorney, and Conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa holds a LLB (Law) degree from the former Rand Afrikaans University and has further acquired a Master of Business Administration degree from Henley Business School, Reading University in the United Kingdom. He served as an Associate at Norton-Lambrianos (SA) Incorporated since 2009 where he gained over 12 years of invaluable experience while serving the conveyancing needs of various Financial Institutions, Estate Agents, and Property Developers.
NL Attorneys is accredited by the Legal Practice Council, holding not only annually renewed Fidelity Funds Certificates since 2019, but also holds a Level 2 BBBEE certification from inception. As a 51% Black Female Owned Law Practice with hands-on directors proactively leading a team of specialists’ conveyancing paralegals and collections staff, we pride ourselves on quick and efficient turnaround times while meeting and exceeding our clients’ expectations.Our client feedback is witness to our well organised and tested processes and systems which focuses on the detailed execution of client instructions while upholding the legislation of our beloved country. We are therefore able to deliver property related conveyancing services to all 9 provinces of South Africa and in all 11 Deeds Registries in the country. Our current and former clients include but is not limited to ABSA Bank, First National Bank Investec Bank, Nedbank Limited, Standard Bank, Old Mutual Bank and SA Homeloans. We have become specialists in upholding, improving, and adhering to their various prescribed processes.
